ShJalc provides legal consultancy, compliance services, and regulatory advisory for international companies entering or expanding within the South African market. Our advice is based on the information you provide and the applicable laws at the time of consultation. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or regulatory approvals.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when engaging our services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must not use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable South African law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShJalc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
All content, materials, and deliverables provided by ShJalc, including reports, templates, and advisory documents, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use these materials solely for your internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
Either party may terminate the engagement at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination, you must pay all fees due up to the date of termination. Sections 3, 4, and 7 shall survive termination.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Cape Town, South Africa, in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa.
